On the
20th
February 2008
we were invited by the Institute of Acoustics to
deliver a paper as part of a Soundscapes
conference. We remain interested in picking up on
the development of a qualitative sound assessment
categorization methodology that is responsive to
space, place and culture and can effectively draw
upon and augment current sound mapping techniques.
If this is a common interest, and from our post
conference discussions we believe it is, we would
be delighted to open up an informal forum so these
issues can be more fully explored.
